Re: EnvisaLink 4 Customer Support Non-existant

That really isn't very fair. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer support and you will see many reviews on Amazon attesting to this. One of our technicians replied to ticket 27242 on February 27th at 6:09AM. The ticket was generated after-hours at 6:42pm. I think that is pretty impressive su...

Re: Did I fry my Envisalink 4 board?

Yes, those are the correct instructions for the EVL4. Make sure you completely ground yourself before doing this. A spark could destroy the or even lock it up, as you have seen. The only other way to turn off static IP is to put your old router back in place, log into the Enivsalink to turn off Stat...

Remove the red wire for about 5 seconds and then replace.

Re: Did I fry my Envisalink 4 board?

So I have an Evisalink 4 Honeywell board. I had a static IP and I changed my router and needed to reset the board. As per the instructions, I touched the gold solder pads labelled RST with a tweezer. All the lights went off and never came back on. I was so careful only to touch the 2 gold pads and ...

Re: Vista-15 (non '-P' version) panel supported?

No, those panels are over 25 years old. I would recommend switching to a Vista 20P.

Re: Is my alarm compatible with EnvisaLink?

It probably has never been tested but based on the manual it should work.

Re: Zone 7 Keyswitch on Vista 20P

No, not really as it isn't a zone. I have something similar on my SOLO system where my remote sirens are enrolled as wireless zones but really they aren't "zones" so I didn't bother lobeling them.

At the same time, it wouldn't hurt if you did so.

Re: Upgrade from EVL-2DS to EVL4 Question

You keep all of your contacts and settings. You just have to remember to "enable" them on your new Envisalink. This is done in CONTACTS in your Eyezon portal.
