Re: Envisalink Sidekick cellular backup

It is already shipping to dealers with pre-orders. We should be getting our own Eyezon allotment shortly. It will be sold direct initially and then eventually make it out to our Internet distribution partners.

Re: SOLO Peripherals

1. We've been told by the manufacturer that the SOLO's smoke detector, of which I have 2 in my home, is delayed due to approvals issues. We are looking oursevles for another temporary option including using a thrid-party wireless smoke detector. 2. Camera support for the Envisalink SOLO is the same ...

Re: Check 108 Wire Expansion

Its your green wire. that should be around 10Vdc, slight fluctuations.

It could also be the terminal. It could be shot too. Look for solder breaks on the underside of the board.

Re: Check 108 Wire Expansion

Do you have an auxillary power supplied installed on your panel?
Measuring at the terminals of the expander, what is the DC voltage between BLACK and YELLOW?

Re: Check 108 Wire Expansion

In almost all cases the expander wiring becomes dislodged during the installation of the new ECP module (Envisalink in this case). The only other option would be a programming error that accidentaly occured during installation. If the expansion module has power then the issue is with either the YELL...

Re: Disable DSC 1864 Phone Line

A long beep after entering *8 <intstaller code> means you have the wrong code.

5555 is the default installer code for newer DSC panels, if your installer gave you something different, use that instead.

Your should get 5 short beeps if the installer code is correct.

Yes, use the Eyezon app from the Apple App store or Google play.

And turn off that port-forwarding now!

Re: 2DS being pinged constantly on my Network

It looks like some "bots" are trying to access your Envisalink.
Why on Earth would you port-forward your Envisalink's local webserver to the public Internet?

NEVER, EVER, DO THIS.

No, just changing the PGM2 to something like 20 should work. Anything other than 04 really.

Re: DSC 832 / PC 5010 . How to remove keypad + disable remote monitoring

I just went through all the zones. All the smoke detectors were already turned off (00). There are no 07/08 settings (smoke detectors). Yet, the panel still shows Fire Zone Fault. How can I fix it? I tried rebooting the panel, but no luck, error still shows at startup You probably have/had 2-wire s...
