Re: Compatibility with Alula BAT-Connect

No, that is not true at all. They are just trying to scare you.

Are you aware that the Envisalink supports professional IP monitoring for $8.99/month? You can add cellular backup for an extra $4/month.

Re: Honeywell Vista 48 in Australia

Based on the instruction manual it does seem that the Vista48 will work. It supports both addressable keypads and an external communicator (ACM).

Let us know in tech support when you have it working and we can get it added to the supported list.

Re: New Feature Requests

Thanks for the update! With the new product launching later this year, is there an official EOL/support for the EVL3, or will the device continue to be supported and updated with new firmware, features, etc? Firmware updates for the EVL3 are for major bug fixes only. There are actually no resources...

Re: EVL4, DSC 24H Zone programming

No, you won't be able to get to zones 15 and 16.

Zone partition assignments are programmed on sections 202-265. Grab your installers manual for a reference.

DSC has like 50 zones types, you will need to get the installers manual to determine the type of zone you need for your other zones.

Re: EVL4, DSC 24H Zone programming

The custom sequence command is limited to 30 characters so it is possible but only for lower zones in a programming "bank", which is 16 on the newer panels. If the zones you were interested in were 1,2, and 3, you would send this custom sequence *8 XXXX 001 11 11 11 ## Where XXXX is your i...

Re: Envisalink EVL4 work with Visa 40 alarm system

Yes, I meant buying a new panel. You should be able to re-use your keypads. If you wanted to start new I would recommend a DSC 1616/1832/1864, re-using all of your hardwired sensors. They integrate a little better with the Eyezon service from a surveillance point of view. From an alarm notification ...

Re: Envisalink EVL4 work with Visa 40 alarm system

For the Envisalink to work with a Vista panel it must support addressable keypads and support external communicators. Unfortunately, the old Vista40 supports neither.

For about $50 you can always upgrade to a Vista20P.

Re: Sidekick Question

I have been told that the contract that refers to overage charges was from the original trial last summer and was meant to make sure testers watched their panels for errant behaviour. The contract for the LTE backup service has no overage charges. Please contact envisalarms@eyezon.com for any inform...
