Re: Server offline

You have a firewall issue. That IP is a valid IP for one of the reporting servers but something is blocking the communication between it and the server. (E) does indeed mean that the IP is "estimated" but it is correct. So the device cannot talk to the server nor your DNS server. Both serv...

Re: Support for Vista-32FB

Yes, but it follows the programming for the Vista 128FB, not the Vista-20P. These panels are generally "pro" only as they are extremely difficult to program but they are not impossible to navigate.

Re: Be warned when AC power drop

After about 30-60 minutes the panel will issue an AC fail alert. This is for DSC systems. Honeywell can be up to 4 hours.

Re: Internet traffic

This has been covered a few times on the forum. The EVL4 uses around 20MB per month upstream, and about 2MB per month down. If you are asking about DIY Envisalerts, it has been free for more than 13 years and will always be free. If you are asking about our profesional Envisalarms monitoring offerin...

Re: EnvisaLink 3 doesn't come up

Try rebooting your router. It is not the Envisalink not asking for a lease, it is that your router is not providing one.

Re: EVL3 and 7847i

Your 7847i is redundant as the EVL3 is a full IP communicator as well providing interactive services.

As the 128BPT is not really a DIY panel you are better to contact tech support (support@eyezon.com) for more assistance.

Re: Powerseries behaviour when arming

I should have said "open" when talking about DSC. Faulted is the term Honeywell uses for "open" zones.
No, arming a partition that is not-ready is non-standard and a bad idea. What if you forget to close that door or it doesn't close completely after you leave?

Re: Powerseries behaviour when arming

You must have reprogrammed your panel to support "force arming" which is a non-standard behaviour. In general, you would never want to allow arming of a partition with a faulted zone. I would assume that the writers of the TPI are just disallowing an obviously bad situation but that is jus...

Re: Monitoring EVL4's located at multiple houses

We use email-to-SMS for all notifcations. Rogers has discontinued its free email-to-SMS service and wants their subscribers to use their "enhanced text messaging" package which I believe is $5 per month. Use the Eyezon app instead. You get PUSH notifcations when the app is installed. But y...
