Re: Did the ability to Arm Env4 by URL stop working...
Some DSC features have no analog in Ademco-land. There is an option to send an arbitrary key sequence akin to the "custom sequence" option which you may or may not have through your service provider's portal. It is limited to 10 keystrokes including * and # on Honeywell panels. Same goes f...

Re: Did the ability to Arm Env4 by URL stop working...
Yes we added some more arming options for DSC in the current devlopment build. It is sort of an "omnibus" build which is holding back release due to the large amount of testing required. I don't know if we will officially support this method of access but watch this forum for more info for...

Re: Latest FW adds: Zones Bypassed to TPI ... what is it?
We could never guarantee the Envisalink would be in sync with the panel for a variety of reasons: What if the bypass command failed? What about zones that are bypassed without keypad intervention? We can't offer-up an API command that "may" be correct 60% of the time. The Honeywell version...

Re: Latest FW adds: Zones Bypassed to TPI ... what is it?
Its not technically possible due to the nature of how Ademco panels work. If it were possible we would have done it.

Re: Amazon Alexa Envisalink Skill Information
We've had a lot of calls into tech support saying that when they try and arm their system via Alexa, the AI responds immediately with "<security system> is not responding". The system does actually arm even though "she" says the system is not responding. I talked to my colleague...

Re: EVL4 DSC Debug in Syslog
Thanks for pointing that out. It looks like it is a left-over from build testing that should have not have made it into the release. There shouldn't be any debug syslog entries in a normal release.

Re: Amazon Alexa Envisalink Skill Information
Any update from amazon as to when it might be available in Canada? No and they have made it very clear they will not be giving any guidance on when this skill will be available in other countries. All the developers who ask on the their forum are told to watch their weekly email update or the devel...

Re: Amazon Alexa Envisalink Skill Information
Are there any plans to allow the "Alarm Device" to be used in Alexa Routines. Currently the EVL Device is not available for selection when creating a new routine. Obvious benefits would be geofence arming, controlling lights, turning on otherdevices, etc... Thanks, You can't trigger off o...

Re: Amazon Alexa Envisalink Skill Information
This is not a big change. Just two lines in json file. But anyway.. Never tried to say like "Alexa Arm Away", will try. But in generally speaking it could be a parameter in settings which defines the preferable arming mode. Why not? The list of acceptable utterances are right at the top o...
